What qualifications and certifications do you have as a personal trainer?
I am a level 2 qualified fitness instructor and a Level 3 qualification personal trainer. Both qualifications are CIMSPA and REPS accredited.
How do you customise workout plans for individual clients?
I have a private consultation with each client and discuss each person’s individual interests and needs. I can plan for weight loss, strength gain, muscle mass gain or even general cardio fitness or flexibility. Each person will receive a personalised programme of up to 4 sessions per week which can be revised every 5-6 weeks.
What is your approach to nutrition and dietary guidance?
I can provide tailored guidance regarding calorie intake and healthy balanced nutrition to suit all goals. This advice will differ depending on your fitness targets. I understand that not everyone knows where to start, and I am happy to recommend affordable options and a judgement free sounding board. However, I cannot diagnose any deficiencies or imbalances - for this I would advise seeing a specialist.
How often should I train with you to see results?
Training 3+ times a week is usually sufficient depending on your goals, but results will vary depending on what exercise you do personally and what plan you subscribe to.
Do you offer virtual training or only in-person sessions?
I can offer both! I have plans for online coaching only with access to video tutorials, and I also have a programme where we can train together either once or twice a week with extra sessions for you to do alone.

What types of clients do you typically work with?
15-65 is my usual age range, but I can work with people from all backgrounds. I specialise in martial arts and strength training, but I am qualified and knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness including weight loss.
Do you have experience with people at my fitness level?
I work with all levels from complete beginners to knowledgeable fitness enthusiasts.
How do you track progress and measure results?
I hold weekly check ins via zoom for my online clients, and I use a handy app called My PT Hub that allows us to track and share any weight loss or gain progression as well as physique progress pictures. We can communicate via whatsapp or the app chat function to discuss exercise form, feedback and how you are feeling with the programme.
What if I have a pre-existing injury or health condition?
I would recommend that you obtain written confirmation from your doctor that you are okay to exercise. If there is something outside my scope of practice I can recommend you to someone further qualified to work specifically with your condition.
Can I get a free consultation or trial session before committing?
Absolutely! Everyone is entitled to a free consultation to discuss any queries or specific requirements before committing to a plan. We want to be able to work together as a team so it’s a good idea to see if we are a great fit. I am happy to also offer a 30 minute trial session so you can see if you like my teaching style. Sessions are normally 1hr.
